On December 11, 2017, a delegation from Ukraine participated in the Forum organized by the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce in China. The Khmelnytskyi City was admitted to the Silk Road Cities Alliance of the International Chamber of Commerce. Mayor of the Khmelnytskyi City Oleksandr Symchyshyn signed a memorandum on cooperation in various spheres within the framework of his working trip to China.
"From now on, Khmelnytskyi has become an associate member of the Alliance of cities and regions of the Silk Road," the city mayor wrote on his page in Facebook. – The memorandum on cooperation in economic, educational and cultural spheres was sighed. The participants of the project are 65 countries. The total amount of funds spent on the project programs is 1 trillion dollars."
