On October 9, 2018 100 mayors of Ukrainian and foreign cities gathered in Kyiv at the International Mayors' Summit.
The mayor of Khmelnytskyi took part in the summit. Oleksandr Symchyshyn made a speech on the waste disposal and presented projects and business support programs: "Buy from Khmelnytskyi", refund of interest rates on loans, lower interest rates for production, industrial park, investment attraction, investment portal, “MoDni” project.
