Rating Sociological Group of the Center for Analysis and Sociological Research of the International Republican Institute published the results of the annual research which includes comprehensive analysis of the attitude of citizens to local authorities and the provision of utility services.
According to its results, Khmelnytskyi got the first rate in the evaluation of the experience of cooperation with the city authorities. The level of approval of the city authorities activities is 80%.
Khmelnytskyi was ranked first as the safest city in Ukraine – 68% of the citizens feel safe in the city streets in the late evening and at night.
Also, Khmelnytskyi is in top 5 cities of Ukraine by the satisfaction index on quality of spheres and services and has one of the lowest rates of corruption cases.
According to Focus magazine Khmelnytskyi was recognized as one of the most comfortable cities in Ukraine – it got second place (after Kyiv) and was ranked first in the Transparency and financial health of cities and regions in Ukraine survey conducted by the International Center for Policy Studies in 2019.
In 2019, Khmelnytskyi was recognized the first in nomination “The Most Successful Ecological City” on the Eco Triumph contest within the fifth ecological forum “V Lviv Eco Forum 2019”.
