Khmelnytskyi became the first and the only city in Ukraine to pass the international evaluation of city management.

The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) funded the evaluation, in accordance with the international methodology "Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA)" developed with the assistance of the World Bank. The large-scale study covered all operations that have been under the control of the city since 2016.

The study first of all testifies to the interest of the international financial community in cooperation with Khmelnytskyi city. Respectable indicators show a well-established system of planning and management of the city funds, its openness to investors, contributors and accountability to citizens.

The evaluation opens up new opportunities for cooperation with international financial organizations and promotes the transparent attraction of foreign investment in the city.
