"I held a meeting of the regional branch of the Association of Ukrainian Cities. We discussed issues relevant to communities.
The meeting was attended by almost 40 communities, as well as Oleksandr Slobozhan, Executive Director of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, and Oksana Prodan, Advisor to the AUC Head.
The most important thing was to communicate about mutual support and assistance to the Defence Forces. They also talked about mutual assistance after the terrorist attacks by the Russian rogue state.
An important topic was the preparation of communities for the autumn and winter period, and the innovations of the central authorities.
We discussed regulatory documents, many laws that have not yet been adopted, and we take a categorical position so that the central government can hear the voice of local self-government.
We defend the position of local self-government, protect the interests of communities and help each other. This is our strength.
I would like to add that for the next 2 years, the heads of communities have entrusted me to continue to head the Khmelnytskyi regional branch of the AUC.
