"International contacts are important.
I met with the Mayor of Manises, Javier Bermejo, representatives of the Manises City Council, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Valencia, Pablo Hill, and the First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain, Oleksandr Herasymiuk.
During the plenary session, the City Council of Manises adopted a resolution in support of Ukraine and Khmelnytskyi as a sister city.
They discussed the resumption of cooperation under the Agreement. They focused on the prospects for cooperation in the fields of culture, education, healthcare, etc. The twin city is also ready to help organise holidays for children of fallen and missing soldiers.
He also met with the new mayor of the Turkish municipality of Efeler, Anil Yetishkin. We also discussed possible ways of cooperation and agreed to communicate at the team level. We talked about specific projects, including the rehabilitation of children of fallen, captured and missing heroes.
And, of course, such meetings are another reminder of the war in Ukraine and the terrorist actions of the Nazis," - said Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn on his Facebook page.
